Here’s how to start Diamond Casino Heist in GTA Online. Starting GTA Diamond Casino Heist. You can’t just walk into the place all-guns-blazing and make off with the cash. Your Diamond Casino. Start by identifying the access points and the important elements of the Casino.
During your scope, you'll take pictures for Lester.
Tip: On your first mission, Lester will let you know when all important access points / items have been spotted and stop the count.
Access Points to the Diamond Casino
- Main Door – located the front of the Casino
- Side Doors – take pictures each door keypad, there’s one on the back and one on the left side
- Roof Terrace – four keypads, one just before the pool (on the left side), one behind the bar (down the stairs), two around the back.
- Security Tunnel – garage door located in the tunnel under the racetrack at the back of the Casino
- Roof – two keypads on doors on each side of the helipad
- Sewer Tunnel – near the river past the racetrack, across the street from the casino, you'll find the entrance to the sewer tunnel. Get inside and you'll find a gate on your right.

- Security Guard – standing next to the elevator by the front desk
- Keypad – on the casino floor, next to restricted access doors
- 1st Security Camera – on the ceiling of the main casino rooms
- 2nd Security Camera – on the roof and roof terrace
- Valet – outside by the Casino front door
- Vault Blueprints – (required VIP membership) on the desk in the management office, accessible by going through the Inside Track room, and into a door down the side hallway.
Yung Ancestor
You can also unlock the Big Con approach via Yung Ancestor by going to the Diamond Terrace, a cutscene will trigger and he will contact you afterward. This is also how you will unlock the reduced rate on the Grotti Furia which is his personal vehicle that he will offer you to use as an escape vehicle.

Approach selection
After discovering the contents of the vault, you will be able to choose one of three approaches to the heist: Silent & Sneaky, The Big Con, or Aggressive.
The Silent & Sneaky approach will allow you to enter the casino and get rid of the guards with complete discretion, as long as you stay on and don't make yourself heard by the other guards.
The Big Con approach will use disguises that allow you to break into the Casino, but not all guards will be fooled.
The Aggressive approach will be the most violent, equipped with heavy weapons you will kill the guards without states of heart to arrive at the vault.
The approaches have three possible statuses:
- Without post-it: Heist is available on normal difficulty
- Post-it padlock: The heist is unavailable because you have just completed this approach
- Skull Post-it: The heist is available in hard (possible after completing the heist approach, then another approach to remove the Skull Post-it), this approach provides higher gains due to its difficulty.
Tips !
Once the three approaches are completed, you will be able to unlock the ability to phone Lester and cancel the heist to change the contents of the vault, you will lose the $ 25,000 in initial costs by canceling the heist.

Tips and tricks
- Enter through the arcade room garage to get to the heist preparation room more quickly.
- If you don't like the content of the vault and if you have completed all the 3 approaches, you can call Lester and cancel the heist to change the content of the vault. You will lose the $25,000 initial fees by canceling the heist.
- It is possible to tune the getaway vehicles once the recovery mission is completed. Enter the vehicle in the basement of the arcade room to tune it.
- During the heist you can also grab some extra cash from the secret vault, which is on the ground floor right next to the elevator. The switch to open up the secret vault door is in the CCTV room next to the elevator. You can expect somewhere between $20,000 to $100,000 to be in there.
You can grab this vault content twice during the Silent & Sneaky approach, once on your way to the main vault and once on your way back up to the exit.

Treasure Island Casino heist
The Treasure Island Casino in Las Vegas had been subject to many botched robberies before 2000. But the biggest robbery happened in October 2000 when Reginald Johnson burst into the casino, wielded a gun and walked away with $30,000. In January 2001, he was arrested.
Bellagio Cashier heist
In 1998 two armored men entered the Bellagio Casino, jumped over the cashier’s cage counter and drew guns. A third man watched the casino’s entrance. They stole $160,000 in both cash and chips.
The three men identified as Oscar Sanchez Cisneros, Jose Manuel Vigoa, and Luis Suarez were later apprehended by police. Cisneros committed suicide in Jail awaiting trial. Vigoa pleaded guilty and was sentenced to spend his life between bars after being found guilty of killing two security truck drivers in an unrelated robbery. Suarez was sentenced to fifteen years in prison. The three clearly executed one of the most daring casino heists but approached it all wrong with their armed robbery strategy and the fact that Vigoa’s face was caught by surveillance cameras during the heist.

In 2000 three men armed themselves with high-tech equipment and set out to hit six casino’s across London.

One of the robbers had armed himself with a miniature camera hidden inside one of his sleeves to film cards while they were being dealt and feed the images to one of his accomplices sitting in a van parked on the street. The accomplice in the van reviewed the footage in slow motion and gave appropriate instructions to his inside man using a small earpiece. The three shady gentlemen were arrested for hitting 6 casinos successfully in the first ever daring high-tech casino heist in history. They managed to deceive the real money casino into £200,000.
Severance pay
At the Las Vegas Casino Stardust in 1992. While serving as a sportsbook cashier at the time, Bill Brennan decided that his job was no longer fulfilling so he made off with $500,000 in cash and chips.
Brennan simply vanished after stealing the money leaving his colleagues and employer speculating that he must have been killed by an accomplice. More than two decades later, Brennan is still nowhere to be found.
Casino Ritz and laser swag heist
The real money casino Ritz in London made an unintentional £1.3 million payout to three cheaters in 2004. The cheaters used lasers installed in their cell phones to measure the speed at which roulette wheels rotated. Incredibly, they predicted the outcome of the spins accurately winning a staggering amount of money in the process. Although the men were arrested, the presiding judge ruled that they hadn’t committed any crime letting them off scot-free.
Brute force heist
In 2005 Eric Alan Aguilera and his accomplice Roland Luda Ramos burst into the real casino in Las Vegas, bound and gagged some three employees while holding another seven at gunpoint before stealing $1.5 million. Solis, however, decided to keep the loot to himself and disappeared leaving Tallchief $1,000 only. Clearly, thieves have no honour.
